20 years later

For all those ladies out there that lost a love and thought you'd never love again, well brace yourself.

I dated my current husband some 28 years ago. 21 years ago I fell pregnant (not intentional) and we walked away from each other as we did not want to burden each other with any kind of commitment.

Our daughter was born (now 20 years old) and her father never saw her until 18 months ago. She decided that it was time to meet him. Initially traumated by seeing him (he's old, grey and fat!!!) and going through tons of emotional turmoils and fears they got to know each other, got to fight with each other and now adore each other.

We met one evening (purely because our daughter was feeling ill and said I should meet him for coffee!) and discovered that we were still crazy about each other. Have never looked back since. We are so in love, act like silly teenagers and can't stop touching, holding, kissing and just looking at each other. It's the most amazing and wonderful thing in life to be able to love so intensely and so openly without any fears. We know we will be together for the rest of our time on earth. Although we could have had a lot more time together we obviously were not meant to be together 21 years ago. A pity we had to go through awful marriages, no other kids involved and sad, lonely times on our own.

We lived a couple of streets away from each other and we did not even know!

So to all those who thought they would never love again well it's possible when you least expect it.

Married for 30 years

I have been married 30 years in october 2007, i have had some good moments and bad ones but it has turned out nice, when i first got married aged 21 and my husband was 37 at the time we got married at a registery office because he had to cancell the original wedding which was to be in our local church in high wycombe his parents were very victorian and disapproved in church weddings thats how i ended up in a registery office. but his parents wouldnt have nothing to do with me because i was younger than my husband and got notions that i was a gold digger, eventually the year after we got married in1979 i was expecting our first born it was a boy then my parents in laws began to talk and except me, i had no problems with my parents, but i look back and think there isnt many who stick together and sort things out in 1984 we had our marriage vows done in church here in marlow buckinghamshire at last i had my wish and it came true. we share everything ,my hsband is a great supporter and also a excellent house husband why beacuse every morning i have breakfast in bed and a cup of tea, and he does the housework for me, his favorite chores are cooking and ironing i do what i can and he never moans about it.

Wow

That's so sweet!! It's good to know things like that really do happen...
