Long distance boyfriend

My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over two years. We met where I live and dated for about two months until the US Air Force sent him about 8 hours away. It wasn't too bad and we continued to see each other every other weekend. During the first year or so we would have phone sex and interact over web cams during the times we were apart. After a while we started having problems with the relationship and agreed we should go our separate ways at which point we took about a 4 month break where we both dated other people and had almost no contact with one another. At about the end of the four months we realized we loved each other and didn't want it to be over. We started seeing each other again, but since the break his sex drive has seemed to disappear except for when we are in person. For those of you who have experienced long distance relationships you know it is very important to experience these things with one another during the time period you don't see each other. Because of both of our financial situations we now see each other about every 2 or 3 months making the time away from each other even more crucial. We have a great time when we are together doing everything you could imagine, but as soon as we apart I can't get him to do a single thing. I've talked dirty to him through texts, e-mails, and over the phone, as well as sent naughty pictures, to which he also responds sexy, or hot, or some kind of compliment showing he does like the pictures,but he does not seem the least bit interested in doing anything with me. He doesn't send any dirty text back or respond to the e-mails and seems to ignore me on the phone. He does say he enjoys reading the messages but thats about it. I've talked to him about it and he just seems to brush it off his shoulders and doesn't seem to understand this is a big deal to me. I do know that he does masturbate alone while we are not together. Does anyone has any ideas on why he is acting this way, or what I can do to get him back into doing these things with me?

Patience is a virtue

I would a attest with the above statement my dear,perhaps he just have no much time to answer your ways of communication cuz it's not that easy to maintain it especially with that kind of job and in that matter you have to be patient if you really wanted to continue that relationship.
indeed,it's hard to be in a long distance relationship simply because there's no reassurance out of it though it still depend with both partners if they're willing to prolong the relationship on the other hand acceptance should be consider as well that either you or your partner might have sex with another girl/guy,temptations were just around the corner and will hit you unexpectedly.I somehow relate with your situation cuz long distance relationship doesn't work for me at all,it's good for 1-2 months continuos communication but afterwards it will end up lil' by lil' withouth you noticing it and will end up of giving up.It's really up to you on how long your patience can give. Changes is the only constant in this world.But who knows at the end you'll be together for the rest of your life.well,if he's really meant for you nomatter what happens it'll return back to you..

Some advice

Hi. Perhaps your boyfriend is really busy with his career now? He might be too tired to return the texts and emails, even though he does like receiving them. How about suggesting you just do the phone sex stuff once every couple of weeks and give yourselves time to build up to it rather than getting in touch every day.
