Is my friend ill

It all started a little while ago when she suddenly found herself single after a very long relationship. She started browsing on the internet on singles sites. Since then (about 3 months ago) she has met and slept with at least 30 guys. And she has also met up with a couple of them again to have threesomes. Now she is saying that she has this addiction to sex and cant get enough. She let it slip the other day that she had also ventured into anal sex, which is something she previously found disgusting. On many occasions she is drunk and I think she really doesn't know what she is doing, althou she shows a no regret.

The final straw came the other day when I discovered that she was arranging to meet with a group of guys (about 4 of them), I'm sure this is for sex and am very worried. I don't even know if she is being safe.

How I can I make her realise what she is doing is wrong? Is she ill? Is this really a medical problem? I have made her appts but she never goes. How can i help.

I dont think she has a problem she is looking for the wrong attention just say your worried about her tell her she needs to be sensible and safe about it talk about what protection she is using but dont belittle her or speak as if ur her mum when she reliases she has been a bit silly she will need ur support so dont lose ur friendship over this she will be gratful when she comes out of this self depriving stage

Hi anon. Its really very nice that you want to help this friend of yours. First of all you really need to sit with her and have a real serious discussion on this. I think she has broken down mentally due to the r'ship break up. As you said it was a long term one this must have hurt her much and to overcome it she has chosen this way. You should talk to her as how serious damage she will have to face after this. She needs a friend right now to support her mentally. So be with her . all the best
