Can enemas be erotic

Enemas are the easiest and simplest way to clean out the rectum prior to anal sex but can they be enjoyable rather than a functional necessity? Whilst I find enemas to be exceedingly erotic in their own right, I suspect that I am in a small minority.

Most correspondence about erotic (as opposed to therepeutic) enemas is from men who are seeking to be given them by women. Is this because enemas give more enjoyment to men rather than women, simply because of the stimulation to the prostate, or is it because men are happier to put their wishes in writing?

Do any women actually find enemas to be erotic or is it solely a male preserve?
