Making lipstick last

Has anyone got any tips on making lipstick stay on longer?

When I put it on, it seems to need reapplying within an hour or so... what am I doing wrong??

I have heard really good things about the Laura Gellar Lip Spackle, it stops your lipstick bleeding, makes your lipstick true to the colour in the tube and will help your lipstick stay on longer.
Putting foundation or concealor on your lips will also make your lipstick more true to the colour in the tube and i think it may make it stay on longer. You could try putting a bit of translucent powder over lips after you apply your lipstick. Hope this helps xxx

I use to do a lot of dance show and we got told to powder will seal the lipstick once you've finished applying it, even if it's a little blusher or powder foundation. It's worked for me, hope this helps.

this is my first post on here so hope it is useful......

firstly what lippie do you wear. it really is true that you get what you pay for so a more expensive brand might be worth a try?

also if your lips are dry they will absorb product so you need to use an intensive lp moituriser at night time like Benefits Smooch, or even just try vaseline!!!

otherwise try a lipstick sealand like lipcote or she laq which is also a benefit product! (i ama benefit addict btw!)
