Eyeshadow

Hello,

My eyeshadow never lasts, does anyone have any tips? it always dissapears within 10 mins of applying it! Same actually happens with my perfume.

I use dior, chanel, and I have also used cheaper eyeshadows and the same thing happens.

i use mac and barry m eyeshadows, a little more expensive but they stay on all night and sometimes till the morning after! haha

Primer

An eyeshadow primer will really help the colour to stay longer. There are reasonably priced ones like Urban Decay Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance. These are colourless so will look great under any eyeshadow. Mac Paint Pots are good too, theres neutral colours like Painterly and Soft Ochre but theres also coloured ones like Delft and Blackground. Rubenesque is my favourite, its a peachy golen shimmer which looks really pretty. You can make your own primers too, theres videos on Youtube. xxx

Heylo

recently been passing this tip around, using Vaseline as a base is better and cheaper than buying primer etc. Use your ring fingers(they have the softest touch) to apply it before eye shadow.
if you want to go a bit further try using moisturiser on top of the Vaseline.

a lassie I knew used hairspray to make her eye make-up last, little tricky - you have to keep your eyes closed till the rest evaporates. kind of a last resort, but sure the vaseline will work.
take care,

Eyeshadow

When I want it to last longer I apply it using a little water (mix it carefully with the brush). It works for me! Hope it helps.

Perfume

your perfume will last longer if you put a moisturiser on first, then spray the perfume onto the moisturised areas.

eye shadow will stay the distance if you put a base of foundation on first (even if you don't wear foundation just put it on your eyes as a base or the eyeshadow to stick to).
