Hey hun

I'm a make-up artist and use lot;s of different foundations, depending on who's skin i'm working with. It totally depends on the loo that you are trying to achieve! I absolutely adore Estee Lauder Doubke Wear foundation for a complete flawless finish. It;'s consistency is quite thick but very blendable. It totally evens out skin tone and creats a great canvas for the rest of your make-up to go on top of.
If you are looking for more of a natural or sheer look then Clinique Super Balanced Make-up is really good. MAC Studio Fix is another great product which you can build up the coverage. If you decide on one of these products I think you'll be more than happy woth the results. Make sure they do a skin test on you to get the correct colour. Happy make-up shopping!! Plese let me know how it goes! Love Cara x

Hi

Estee lauder double wear everytime, keep trying different ones for a change, but i always go back to this one x

Have you tried wet & dry foundations?

I find the wet and dry foundations to be better as you can take it from light coverage all the way to heavy and it doesn't clog pores like liquids or attract dirt & pollution like liquids.

This foundation is suppose to be really good, I have used it myself (as I am in the same boat as you!) but as you said, MAC is the best make-up money can buy really but I'm not sure whether their foundations are any good. Go to MAC and ask them what they recommend. Have a makeover done in the morning, go shopping, see whether you like it or not, go back if you do, try somewhere else if you don't! that's what i plan to do

Hope this helps.

Mac

I am always trying out new foundations, no matter which i try i always find myself going back to MAC. Although i guess it depends on your skin and how you apply it, most foundations look good applied with a brush.

I highly rate Estee Lauder Lucidity Light Illuminating Foundation, doesnt cake or make you look like you have been tango-ed. And i also use BeneFit Nonfiction on nights out as it is a little darker. Hope this helps! Jay jay x
