Ysl-top secrets or ysl-matt touch read.. although its long xxx everything you need to know about x

They are both really great primers, both are suitable for different skin types!

Top secrets is best for dull skins, or skin that lacks radiance, it will act as not only a facial primer for your makeup, to help minimise your pores, fine lines, deep set lines etc, but it also can be used alone just to give your skin a healthy glow and make your skin look a little bit dewy which is a really nice look. This is suitable for all skin types, it doesnt matter if you are dry or oily, it helps to control sebum, protects the skin, keeps make up from slipping and sliding. Im a makeup consultant and i have to wear a full face of makeup every single day, which i love, dont get me wrong. But its really difficult to keep makeup on, without being able to reapply which we all know lol, i guess we are all still waiting for a perfect, natural looking foundation with flawless coverage that doesnt make us oily, but gives us a dewy glow and stays on forever, without going patchy or cakey, oh trust me lol, the future holds great things.... i hope! But for now, we have facial primers and there good to. Top secrets is a great primer for everyday use and has some lovley ingredients liek caffiene, to help brighten and stimulate the skin, sweet orange extract which helps to natural exfoliate the skin and menthol to freshen the skin, it also has things liek oats to soften and light reflecting technology to give he skin a really nice glow.

TOP SECRETS CANT BE USED AROUND THE EYES, & this is just because the sweet orange extract in this product naturally exfoliates so if you were to use this product frequantly around the eye area it would cause soarness after a few uses..xx so just be careful not to use it around the eye area.

This product retails at £34 & lasts for up to 6 months, & has a brush on the end to apply it with, which you are advised to clean weekly just with a mild liquid soap, handwash etc, just to keep the brush nice and your product fresh and also, this will prevent breakouts. I really love the brush on this product because i feel like i get a really nice finish and i save product... Overall GREAT PRIMER FOR EVERYDAY USE XX

Matt Touch Primer

Love, love, love. Now this is more of an evening or extreme wear primer, its a long wearing primer, its like your ultimate makeup primer, it gives great staying power, without blocking your pores, which i find alot of primers do which isnt good, because my pores are bad enough lol. This is a powderey finish, its really smothe and soft and i love using this when i do makeup for weddings, however i tend to reach more for topsecrets now and sometimes i mix a small amount of matt touch in with the topsecrets, so i get that nice dewy glow, with the staying power of matt touch..xx

Try them both, they are amazing primers..iv tried many and most of them break me out, & these to dont tend to break me out at all, my fave is top secrets but your fave may be matt touch, just go to your closest ysl counter and ask for the consultant to try on the primers and show you the products on the skin xxxx

Hope you love them to xxxx Good luck, primer hunting!!! & ..p.s.. If you are wondering if a primer is nessecary, it really is, not only do they keep makeup on for longer, but they are great for all ages, for different reasons, they are great for filling dialted pores, which i get alot, so that when the foundation goes on its goes over them smoothly and also great for kind of pollyfilling lines which is great because again when the foundation goes on, it goes on so smoothe.. Also, some primers offer natural spf protection of about 8 or more, and protection form the environment and they create the perfect canvas for foundation, its liek plastering a wall before you paint it.. xx decoration for the face, just remember you dont need alot though, a small amount is plenty xx

xxx Bye for now, kel xx Hope this helped.. sorry its sooo long xx

Try this!

I know of ths fantastic primer from Eyeko Makeup

Virgin vie

Hi there,

Virgin Vie do a great one...I can't remember the name but it's the only one they do I think.

It's really illuminating and you can even wear it on its own if you are in a rush.

It gives a really nice smooth base for your make up.

Alternatively I sometimes use a really good moisturiser as a base such as Clarins Hydro Matt moisturiser. However if you do use something like this make sure that you set your foundation with powder or it could slide off. Or make sure that you leave half an hour between moisturising and applying foundation.

Bare escentuals

I swear by the face primer that comes in with the bare escentuals kits, Also sold seperateley too, To be honest it is the only one I have tried so I cannot compare it to any other primers.

Lancome

Hi

I would suggest Lancome, its amazing, bit pricy but works a treat and has helped my make up stay on pretty well. you only need one pump of the stuff so it lasts ages.
