Semi permanent make up

Hi

Looking for a bit of advice and support. I have arranged to have semi permanent make up - lip liner and blush. I am happy with the salon who recommend the technician that will be doing the treatment. However I am getting a bit nervous and wanted views off anybody who has had the treatment.

So far I have been told to use L-lysine or Zorvirax on my lips, then P20 after the treatment when I go on holiday.

Just wanted views on how long the lips will be cracked or sore. Does anybody know what lips look like once the colour starts to fade, I understand this can start after about 18 months onwards.

Any views would be appreciated.
Thanks

Semi permanent make up

Hi
I have used Andrea Grollet who is based in London and Surrey. She did a really nice subtle job and you can build it up late to be more dramatic. Be warned tho its really painful I had upper and lower liner and eyebrows done in one go it took 2 1/2 hours and was really tiring next time I would do one at once

Permanent makeup

Hi there, that is why I went to Heidi Worman, the people who I spoke to about her said there work did not hurt. When I had mine done I did not feel a thing. she told me that she used a special product that she imports.

The lady before me had Latino and lower liner,(I want this done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and she was fine. Mine was good as well, I nearly fell asleep and I am a big baby. She has a massive portfolio to look through, she showed me a load of TV work she had done with BBC1 and other stuff.

Hope this helps,

Kim

Hi

The thing fun about makeup is you get to go with the fads and trends. Say you want the nude lok in a few months....how to if you are stained or tatooed?

Dan

London??

Anyone recommend a good place in London to get permanent eyeliner done, I'll be over there next year and want to get it done.

Thanks girls.

Can be grim

Seen some horror stories and see some times where the line just looks artificial.
Wouldn't go for it but each to your own.

Me also

Hi,
I'm also thinking about semi-perm make up but I'm clueless.
Can anyone give me some advice on it and if you can recommend a good clinic in Cardiff area or Swansea/Neath/Port Talbot. It would be most appreciated.
I'm looking at brow, upper eyeliner, and a lip blush. What sort of cost am I looking at? Thanks
