Mineral make-up

Hi all,
i need help bigtime, i suffer from a very sensitive skin problem that i've had since i can remember,
i have, in the past used most every brand of make-up to cover this, only to be irritated the next day as a consequence
i find that mineral powders can lessen the breakouts, but somedays makes it worse,
any help or advice on minerals and the best to use would be truly appreciated x

Hi,We have always known that makeup is bad for our skin in the long run... But what could we do? Not look our best today and save ourselves for later? Well, now we have the solution, in the form of natural mineral makeup. The best mineral makeup is made from all-organic substances that beautify you, but don't harm you in the long run. Sounds pretty interesting, doesn ...
Well, that is why mineral makeup is taking the beauty products world by storm and slowly replacing inorganic makeup as the first and last word for 'looking good'. by http://makeupfamily.com/Mineral-Makeup-is-better-than- other-makeup-cosmetics-for-Dry -Skin_310.shtml

Mineral makeup

I have been using mineral makeup and I find it to be a great cover up, but sometimes it can tend to dry my skin out. I just have to compensate by using lots of moisturizer.

Mineral makeup is drying

Hi casey,

I've read articles that says that mineral makeup is drying. I'd be careful with it.

My philosophy is that actually skin problems have to do with what you're eating, not just what you're putting on your skin.

The need to eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables is obvious, yet the problem that many young women have is that they avoid eating all kinds of fats, including good fats, which are excellent for healthy skin.

Most people with dry skin need their omegas like omega-3 and omega-6, found in fish oil or flaxseed oil, amongst others.

I'm studying naturopathy right now you see and that's why I really love to tell people that skincare is not just about what you're putting on your skin, it's also about what you eat!

good luck with the makeup hunt, tho I found that the book Don't Go To The Cosmetics Counter Without Me is a good one with reviews on products and whether or not they're suitable for sensitive skin.

I have the book at home, so if you have a brand and product, send me a message and I'll look it up for you to let you kno wat the review is

cheers

Nicole

Mineral make-up

Hi Casey, I'm curious about mineral make-up too. I spotted an article on the home page today that I had a flick through, it might answer some of your questions: http://www.sofeminine.co.uk/mag/beauty/d5160.html

Mineral makeup

I have just received my Purely Mineral Starter Kit as it was recommended to me by a friend, and I have to say it arrived the very next day and the coverage is just fantastic, I used the code PW0005 which gives you 10% off well worth taking a look at at £30! No P & P at checkout either, nice surprise! www.purely-mineral.co.uk
