Best foundation ( dry skin)

I suffer from exzema and always get dry skin, although i dont have break outs of red itchy skin anymore i do suffer from dryness on my nose forehead and chin.

Cn you reccomend a foundation which will not dehydrate my skin or bring me out in spots ?

Thanks
Kerry

P.S i do get a combination of dry skin but still shiny

My opinion

I work with make and the best i would day for dry skin and that wont make you break out are mineral make up brands, as natural as possible.

I would say if you are looking into a liquid foundation, then mineral fusion is good. It doesnt make you break out, doesnt have any nasty ingredients that would annoy your skin and is long lasting. http://www.mineralfusioncosmetics.com /

If your looking for a loose base foundation but with good coverage also then i would suggest Inika, its a loose base but it gives this really nice creamy texture to the face really soft and offers amazing coverage. Its PURE minerals from australia. http://www.inikacosmetics.co.uk

I have dry, shiny skin too but not exzema and i use Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse Foundation. Its about £6 from Superdrug or Boots.

Hi

hi

Thanks for your reccomendation how ever i did try a sample of that and it made me look really skaly and dry eeeeeeeeeek aparently dry skin types should steer away from the mouse foundations.

Im curently using maxfactor colour adapt which is nice for an evenign out but wouldnt wear day in day out. I am currently using maybeline mineral foundation which is good but im not sure how good it is for my skin ?

Hi

mineral foundation is great but if it is a powder it will make your flaky dry spots stand out. Use a liquid and no matte foundation. Be sure to use something that implies a built in moisturizer and use a moisturizer before.

Hi

To avoid skin appearing dry and flaky, mix in your daily moisturiser with your foundation before application. Also, Maybeline wonder finish foundation is great, it also works well when mixed with moisturier as some foundations just clump up.
Hope this helps.

Hi

I would like something that doesnt bring me up in blemishes something pure and good for me that wont clog up my pores.

currently my skin looks a little dull and uneven and i have open pores on my cheeks which dont help with blackheads

il have a look into the maybeline make up as i use the mineral one currently, only it doenst last all day and like you said makes dry bits stand out and i can also get a shine on my forehead boo hoo.

Whats the best of the best make up for dry skin that is acutally good for you ?
