did you go ahead with you BA? as its must have been nearly a year ago now, how are they? I've just booked my consulation with this group and would really like to know what your experience was like with them and the aftercare. i'm looking at about doing the same size as you, does it make them very much bigger? or should i just may do one size bigger.

I had a BA op (350cc under the muscle) by Dr Paganelli, at THG, 4 weeks ago, I found him absolutely lovely and very proffesional.
I was a 36 AAAAA and am now a full C cup, so far im very happy with the way my boobs look, although the ones dropping and the other one hasn't yet and have slight rippling at the sides, which i have been told is normal and will take time to settle.
I thought the Hospital Group were good although if i had a problem dont know yet what the after care would be like, i suppose its the same where ever you go, once theyve got the money of you and done the op they dont seem as bothered in you !!!!!!

"Omg don't go with the hospital group!!!!"

Just want to say, if you research comments on THE HOSPITAL GROUP you will only find good comments from those who's op's have gone well first time!!! if you have not had a good op, well!!! I went with them because they promised a 3 yr aftercare program, should you have any probs they will re-op if necessary!!??? no they don't even call you back, answer letters of complaint or let you see yr surgeon!!! i have had to take legal action!! I didn't get seen by my surgeon once for post op care and i could tell you more shocking facts!!! please ladies be careful, Watchdog were even investigating!!!

Hi, just read your message regarding the hospital group. Sounds like you have had a horrible time with them. What went wrong? I had a BA with them in April 2007 with Dr Payne. So far everything has been fine, although got an infection. Which i went to my doc about and was put on anti-biotics. I gained a couple of stretch marks, which i hope will fade, and my scars are still a bit purple.
Please fill me in on your experience.....

who was your surgeon and what happened to you? I got off lightly as I cancelled my surgery with them after bad communication, lies and reading so much bad stuff on this site.

I had breast implants put in about 4 years ago now and I have regretted it ever since. I was a small 34 B and went up to a small 34 D and shortly after I developed severe stretch marks all over my breasts. It is awful. Having those ugly stretch marks made getting a boob job pointless. My aunt also developed stretch marks after her boob job (she was originally a 36 D and only went up one cup size!!!) I know quite a few women who developed severe stretch marks from having their breasts done. Of course, there are many who don't. Honestly, if you can afford it, I would reccomend having multiple surgeries and only going a little bigger each time to make sure that if stretch marks are going to develop they wont be severe.

Bio oil is the best thing for improvement. I was advised to moisturise my boobs prior to the BA to prepare the skin and bio oil after wards once the scars have healed. Also vitamin e cream or palmers coco butter also work. The HMG gave this advise as does several mags saying that if your skin is to be stretch due to surgery or pregnancy you have to prepare it for this. I've gone in the last week from a small 32b to a full 32d and not one mark. Obviously genetics go a long way, but I'd use the bio oil or vit e cream or palmers cocoa butter and see what improvement you get, you have nothing to loose.

Hi,i had BA last monday, went from C to E and had very very light stretchmarks anyway. The next day the stretch marks i had already were bright red and i was so down about it,however the day after that they had completely gone to how they were and you cant even see them now.I dont think you will get stretchmarks but it will show the old ones for a little while. What i can suggest is buying some bio oil and putting it on as much as you can before and after. This is brilliant stuff as i have had 2 kids and got loads of stretch marks but after putting that on twice a day you can hardly see them!!You can buy it from chemists, boots and superdrug. "Choice of implant size"

Hi, I'm looking to have my BA in April at the mybreast clinic in birmingham, has anyone been here before??

I've done so much research into this procedure and just want it done now! I'm a 34A and really quite flat-chested, I want to be a large C cup as as I think this size would be in proportion to my size 8-10 frame.

Does anyone have any idea as to what size implant I would need? Am yet to have my consultation with a surgeon.

Also, I am a student and will be having the op done in the Easter holidays but unfortunately have 3 assignments to complete and 2 exams to revise for!! Will I be ok to get on with these after a couple of days rest if I am just at home on my computer?

Sorry for so many questions but if anyone has any idea or extra info I should consider it would be much appreciated as there is only so much info you can read on the official websites, Thanks!
"Implant size"

Hi
I had my op 11 days ago. I'm 5ft 10 and size 8-10. Pre op I was a small 32a/b and had 300cc implants behind the muscle. I tried an implant size smaller and it def wouldn't have made much difference, I also feel I could have carried off one implant size bigger as well. When you try them in the bra they look bigger than they will when the implant is inside you. I'm really pleased with the result and currently wearing a 34d support bra. My surgeon has said once the swelling goes down I should be a large c, small d. The surgeon I used has done exactly what I wanted which was to give me boobs but still look discreet, I just wanted to look in proportion. Also I had the op done on the Weds and went back to my office job the following Monday without any problems. Hope this helps! Laura

Hello.

I am about to undergo a BA during the easter break from my university and I was wondering how your BA went along with the work you had to do for uni?? I'm getting nervous as I only have about 6 weeks left and would like someone to have a chat with about the proceedure and the end result.

"Stretchmarks"
Posted by traceyjanegale 2 February at 22:38

Hi there.

2wks ago i had 650cc implants and went from a D to an F and I haven't got one stretchmark so don't panic too much (and I have them on my belly from having a baby and on my thighs from losing weight and re-putting it on over the years so its not as if I don't mark!!!).

No stretchmarks but I am starting to notice they look slightly "veiny" (only very feint though) but more obviously than before

Hi last monday i went from a C to an E and had 700cc.I have got veins now and after going on the cosmetic surgery forums i realised that everyone gets these veins that are very noticeable. One lady said the whole of her breast were covered in deep blue veins for a month or so and all of a sudden they just went!! Hi
Ive just had 375 cc implants on each side just over 24hrs ago and they look so swollen and mis-shapen that its worrying me is this normal???? The implants have gone under the muscle and are very high so in effect it looks like I have two breasts on each side- one on top of the other....they are also quite hard....
I'd be really grateful of any feedback

xx

Hi becky,

Im also having a breast enlargement with the hospital group next month.. im getting abit nervous now!

I suffer from stretch marks aswell, i guess thats the way of life!
Im hoping that the breast enlargement will stretch the stretch marks so you wont be able to see them!

Has anyone else had stretch marks on their breasts before the operation?
