Skin irritation - allergies to face please help!

Hi there,

For the last few months my face seems to go very red, at first I thought it maybe a reaction to some antibotics that I use for mouth infections but it's still here and seems to be getting worse.

It makes the whole of my cheeks, nose and just above my nose (inbetween the eyebrows) very red, when it flares up it feels hot and sometimes itchy. My pores also become very open and most unslightly.
I have a green base to cover it under my foundation for the day, but I hate taking off my make up at the end of the day as you can see just how bad it looks, it is starting to make me feel very self concious and people are starting to point it out.

Can anybody help or recommend something? I stopped using my make up wipes today as I thought it could be something to do with those perhaps but time will tell. Does or has anyone else suffered or currently suffering with this?

I have looked up rosacesa but am unsure to whether it's this as of yet.

I would be grateful for anyone who has any advice - it is starting to get me down : (

Thanx

Soap allergy???

Hiya

For years i was suffering with a very simalar problem. In addition I was also coming out in large lumps all over my face (highly emmbarassing not to mention painful). I tried everything to try and clear my skin (costing a fortune) but nothing worked.

Whilst speaking to one of my customers who uses our Rona Ross Prickly heat Gel Wash as an everyday face wash, she suggested I could be allergic to soap and to try the Gel Wash myself as it's soap free and antibactrial.

After about a week my skin strated to clear up. I've been using it now for about 4 months and will never wash my face in anything else. My skin has cleared and I no longer get the lumps and spots i did before.

Try using soap free products for a week or so just to see if that is the problem. Theres no point forking out on expensive lotions or creams if it's not needed. There are quite a few products which are soap free and the Rona Ross range can be bought at www.naturalskincare-uk.co.uk

Aqueous cream!

Hi,

I had something really similar a few months back. My face all of a sudden became really red and the skin was tight and itchy. All face washes and creams would sting.

I used aqueous cream in place of all face-washes and face creams. Also, I went a few days without make up. It really helped.

My skin is ok now, but whenever I feel it getting tight or red, I use aqueous cream for a few days and it stops it from occuring again.

I hope this helps.
