Acne on the face

Hi All

I have been searching for acne treatment(which is mostly on my cheeks) for last 12 years by doing home remedy like turmeric/rubbing ice/washing which does not seem to give me clear skin.

A bit of Background about me: Since time immemorial i have got oily and acne on my face. Every time i used to get constipation my face used to get horrible. I have never used tablets before for skin scare so i am a bit scared to start it now. However i did use vitamin once and i remember having a upset tummy so i stopped it!

Current scenario: I have tried various scrubs/creams to keep my face clean/healthy. I wash my face too regularly however its not giving me permanent solution - now and then i get blackhead or pimple on my face which leaves acne(which takes ages to go). Now all this situation is seriously effecting my confidence level and which makes me feel depress.

Guys i am looking for a solution where i can control pimples/blackhead and get healthy skin. i have searched few products(tablets/ creams) online but i dont feel confident enough to try those. Please advice me as what i should be doing? You are welcome to ask questions.

Thanks in advance

Acne problem

Hiya

I agree that you should lay off the face scrubs as their really harsh for your skin.

I used to suffer with really bad ance (i'm 31!!!!) for years until a customer of mine receommended using a product called Prickly Heat Gel Wash. (i know it sounds daft)

turned out I was allergic to soap (it's in nearly every face wash you can find) and that was causing the problems.

The Gel Wash is soap free and antibacterial, it contains tea tree oil, seeweed gel and panthenol which are all great for your skin.

you can get it from www.naturalskincare-uk.co.uk.

it might be worth giving it a try just to see if soap is the problem.

Beauty remedy

Hi there,

I think you should hold off using any facial scrubs for the time being because it only aggravates the skin further and makes the skin sensitive... I have had acne problems myself for the past 15 years and only recently started to see mark improvement.

My remedy is a combination of two things, which you are welcome to ask me more questions or to try it out.

The first is an product called Garden of Eden Rosa T (you can find out more on www.goeskincare.com or www.acne-treatment.cc).

This is a concentrated serum especially for oily / problematic skin like ours... it helps to control the oil secretion (Only a small amount is really needed and it goes along way!). Use it regularly (day and night) and you will see that it will help to control your pimples. It has TEA TREE OIL (kills blemishes and acne) + VITAMIN E (heals scars and blemishes).

The other product is a mask i often use called HIMALAYA MUD PACK. I'm not sure where you can find this online but i found it at pharmacy where i live. It's a product originating from INDIA and has got herbal properties like turmeric that helped to clear out my skin and reduce the oil (my face was EXTREMELY oily before this... and had plenty of shine!)

I hope this works for you. Please PM me if you have any questions! There's hope yet!!!

Hihi

I think I can share my experience to you.

I am acne skin type. Acnes were always on my face every summer since I was 19 years old!

The most horrible thing was, they were not on my whole face (except eye lid and nose) but also on my neck.

I changed a lot of skin-cares but I found the main problem was cleaning and hydrating!

In my experience, don't trust the skin-cares which are claimed for acne skin type without evidence-based! I switched a lot of acne products from popular brands. All of them were rubbish and made my skin dry and peel.

The gentle cleanser is very important. It should be mild, cleaning but never make your skin dry. I used the Aquanil cleanser. I don't know it is sold in UK or not. But it is not difficult to find another mild cleanser in market such as Cetaphil.

I also used Glyderm lotion product which contained glycolic acid. I had done a lot of research about this product. It was cheap and effective from most of reviews. But it might be a little dry for dry skin type. It is better to put light moisturizer after that!

All scrubs/masks/treatment should be stopped before your skin get better.

At last, I know the main reason of my acne, the acne would come out when my skin becomes dry!

Fruits and water are important to maintain skin condition and constipation. Try to intake much more!

Hope you get better!
