Hyper-pigmentation

hi everyone,

i was wondering if anybody could give me some advice.... since last summer i have had some darker patches come up on my face on my upper lip. this is the only area of my face affected so im sure you can imagine how much it stands out. im naturally fair skinned, although tan easily. this summer the patches are even worse and now really bothering me. iv been told its only come up here as that area of skin was probably more sensitive to the sun because i wax/ immac there. iv been staying out of the sun but its not going, and wondered if anybody else has experienced this or anybody knows any products i can use to help?? any advice would be great guys....thanx

Melasma..

it might be a condition called Melasma...i have it, and it usually appears on the upper lip, forehead and cheeks. Ive done quite a lot of research on the internet about it, and there dosent seem to be an immediate cure. My doctor told me to come of the contraceptive pill, as this is what has made my skin sensitive in the first place. Ive been using a cream called Fade out...and it seems to have worked a little...ive been using it about 4 weeks now. But i need to wear a factor 50 sun cream otherwise, it my face gets in the sun and starts to tan, the dark patches come back, and will just get darker..

Any other experience with this will much appreciated....
