Face peels at blemish clinic manchester

A Chemical Face Peel would help with acne scarring. It works by removing the top layers of skin and allows new skin to grow, rejuvenating the face and removing scars and blemishes.

They come in a variety of strengths to suit your needs, depending on the severity of the scars from a TCA Peel which is a milder peel which removes upper skin layers and can remove milder acne scars, to a Phenol Peel which is a stronger peel which removes deeper blemishes and scarring.

Acne scarring

Hi,

I agree with srose2, microdermabrasion and skin peels are definately effective against acne scarring. Needling is good but it's really more for ice-pick scars. My partner has tried needling but he said it is quite sore after the anaesthetic cream had wore off.

My partner currently has treatment with sk:n clinics. Scarring is one of the treatments they specialise in. He was left with some slight pigmentation from his acne so he was recommended peels and then some microdermabrasion once that's cleared up.

Take a look. They have some info on their site, too.

Hope thid helps

Acne scarring treatment selston clinic nottingham

Hi,
I am currently undergoing treatment for acne scars on my cheeks and neck at Selston Clinic, Nottinghamshire.

I have been having treatment for six months now, consisting of medical microdermabrasion/chemical peel and home skin needling, and am seeing a good improvement.

At first the skin needling does feel a bit barbaric but stick with it as once you get used to it the minimum pain seems to subside and the results are definitely starting to speak for themselves. I am now moving onto to medical skin rolling with the 2mm roller to try and achieve even greater results.

I was advised from the outset that this could be a year to eighteen month long course of treatments to achieve optimum results. After hearing false promises before it was refreshing to hear honest opinions and not be given unrealistic goals.

If improvements carry as they have been doing I think my skin is going to look really good. I would thoroughly recommend the clinic and the cost of the treatments compared to other practices are excellent.

I will post further comments as I progress through the treatment to update my skins condition.
