I have always had fairly normal skin but recently for the first time have noticed the skin in my t zone is a bit oily despite having made no changes in my usual makeup/beauty regime. When out I seem to be constantly in and out of my handbag to grab the powder compact for a cover up. I am sure the boyfriend does not even notice it but i feel uncomfortable about it. i have spoken to a number of the cosultants in the cosmetic sections of the big stores who all seem to have something different to say and want to sell me very expensive products. Before plunging in i would be grateful to know if any other girls have had the same problem and have found something that works for them.

Hi Fiona, how old are you? Sorry for asking but im 44 and the last few months, my skin has become really oily and even my eye make up doesnt seem to last like it did, i go for regular facials on a monthly basis and this has regulated my skin a little, i have the Guinot Hydradermie which is great and i use Dermalogica products, i think i might be peri menopausal, thats all i need lol hope this helps, dont buy from the cosmetic counters they are just sales girls after your money, only a qualified beautician who can see your skin without make up can assess your skin type and changes, i have spent loads over the years on so called products from department stores and its only recently ive began to see improvements with regualr facials

Have you changed your contraceptive pill recently at all? I ask because i'm on 'dianette' and whenever I try another type of pill, i get an extremely oily t-zone?!
I've also heard than 'Clinique' do a good range for oily skin.
Fee x
