Firstly you should be shaving in a bath or shower to decrease the friction of the blade on skin, secondly never use disposable razors, always use a decent razor like Gilettes Venus razor, the razor heads can be expensive but like any beuty essential, the better the tool the better the job done.
Ingrown hair due to shaving is a sign of bad skin care regime. You must exfoliate before shaving or else you risk ingrown hairs, toner and moisturiser should be used in your daily skincare routine too.
