Hair colour mess!!

Hiya all,

Wondering if anyone could please help me as im in desperate mode about my hair...

First of all it was really really blonde highlighted so i dyed it brown with a semi permanent, then red semi permanent again as i wanted a red tinged hair...which was pretty stupid as i ended up with orange roots!!

I went the hairdressers a few days ago and they dyed all over it with another semi brown and its gone black at the ends with red tinged roots, im absolutely devostated my hairs horrible it doesnt suit me at all and im never going to know what to get done when my roots grow , does anyone know if the blackish colour will fade and all the red within it?

Also when the roots grow what on earth colour cud i get put in it as my nautural hair is light brown? I hate having black hair its just not me.

please help any advice welcome!!!!!

Hello

Hiya Have you sorted the hair disaster? Strangly enough i did exactly the same thing just 2 wks ago, so your not alone. I was gutted too as dont suit 2 tone black and reddish hair. Im booked in for a colour srip next wk then am told(if my hair doesnt snap off 1st) i can have highlights. Hope u get yours sorted, good luck.

Disaster

Well hunny.. All that hair dye cannot be doing your hair any good. Have you spoke to your hairdresser about having your hair stripped? Most hairdressers if you asked them could strip all colours out of your hair. Not sure how tho. Sorry. I know that it has been done. My mums a hairdresser and my best friend is too so i know that you can do this. My advice is that you ring a professional hair salon up and explain to them whats happened. Stripping your hair isnt too healthy either, but its alot better than having all that dye on your hair. Also.. Make sure you get some good shampoo and conditioner. Your hair must be breaking and very weak. So try one like Loreal Elvive 'Care and Repair' or Fructis. I use both and they are pretty good. And make sure you use a Heat protective spray. I use Tresemme heat defence. Its brill!!

Good luck

Jodie xx
