i have african hair both my parents are from africa and although my hair is a lot softer than both of my parents and most of my siblings it is still hard to manage. i've found this recipe on many websites and finally decided to try it, my hair was really frizzy today and stuck straight up and was coming out of my ponytail so i made this and i sprayed a bit on and then smoothed down my hair and it is actually behaving!!

you need:
2 cups of water
1 orange (or a lemon orange for dry hair and ive heard two limes work)

i didn't even peel the orange i just cut it up and put it in a pot with the water and boiled it and before it started to boil after the fruit was softened i pulled it out piece by piece and squeezed the juice out and put the pieces back in then after it was really boiling i turned off the heat and poured it through a thin piece of cloth over a strainer into a metal pan then i cooled it and put it in a spraybottle and used it and then voila say bubye to flyaway hair!!
