...........If you have to remove hair extensions?

I was told if you have extensions, they have to be removed before surgery. I cant see why? I can understand the need to remove Nail Extensions & polish, for the obvious reasons, but not hair extensions.

Im going in the end of May for BA. I dont really want mine removed if I dont have to, after all we do have to wear the "silly hat" anyway !!!!!

Ive never heard of that! I went for a nose job in January and I had mine in! Nothing was said!xxx

never heard of this before, how wud they know unless you told the hospital?
dont wanna take mine out, cost enough to get them in!
