Babyliss pro 230

Hi everyone. As I'm going to buy a new hair straightener I just wanted some of your advice on which one to get. I've heard so much about GHD's but have also found out great comments and opinions on the Babyliss pro 230 which seems to be just as good if not better. As it's newer it seems to have better features than GHD's and it reaches higher temperatures. Can anyone give me more info? Has anyone tried both and compared them? Thanx alot.

Hi

Hi

I have had the pro 230 for a while now. Its the best one I have ever had... and believe me i have gone through a few. My hair is naturally straight anyway but has kinks in it hence why i use it... i use it on setting 4 as thats enough for me and it does get hot!!. Once you plug it in you can use it within a minute..my opinion is its fab and i dont think you will regret buying one as its worth every penny...

Hi tiffany

Thanks for your reply. I have naturally curly hair that easily gets frizzy when there's damp weather. DO you think the babyliss pro 230 is suitable for my hair and that I can actually get it poker straight with it. What's more I was wondering whether it's as good as GHD's as everyone's praising GHDs everywhere. Does your hair keep straight even when it's humid? Thanks again...

Hi holly

My hair is always frizzy/fluffy at the ends the morning after i have washed it and got waves in it and it makes my hair poke straight so i cant see why not.. it has a temperature dial on the side.. like i said i have it on number 4 but if your hair is really frizzy i would recommend you have it higher..best thing is to try it and see what temperature setting is best for you.I got mine for £29.99 from costco's in milton keynes but i have seen them for sale at about £60.00..maybe go to kelkoo.co.uk and see who is selling them and how much they are...

Excellent value, but you can't beat ghd

Hi, I've had a set for the past couple of months and can definitely recommend them. I've always had super smooth results with minimum of hassle.

Before the babyliss I had a set of GHDs, which sadly my boyfriend stood on and broke IMHO The Babyliss are not quite the same standard as GHD, but for the price are excellent value for money.

Thanks girls!!!!!!!

Thanks alot for your replies and for helping me out. When you go to the shops the shop assistants always seem to know less than you do and try to convince you into buying any product at all as long as you spend money and get out as soon as possible (that's the impression I get sometimes) so thanks for your advice. I surely feel more informed now!
