Long hair. why????
I have often thought to myself that the length of your hair often corresponds to your sense of insecurity. I have a few friends that I've known for 15 years that refuse to cut their hair more than a trim. If I try to suggest to them to cut their hair they get really defensive like they're too scared to do it. It seems like the hair is just a security blanket and more often than not it doesn't flatter them. They either spend too many hours with curling irons (so outdated) or they continuously put it up in a pony tail.
Myself and other friends are not afraid to change our hair. Everytime I sit in a stylist's chair I assure them that "it's ok if you cut a bit too much off... it's hair and it grows back!" You won't see me crying when I see a few inches fall to the floor. Whenever I see a woman with shorter hair or a woman that takes chances with her hair and changes it often I see her as being more secure in her own beauty.
Don't be afraid of the scissors girls!!!!
