Help please'

Hi, Can anybody help me,I would like to become a hairdresser,but I have a full time job and I cannot give up jet,I started an online hairdressing course,similar to NVQ2,but I need a salon to have practice.I love to do my friend ,relatives hair and I thing I have the skill to do it.I was asking around in the local salons ,if I can work as a volunteer 1 -2 days a week to get practice,but nobody could help me.If anybody can give me any advise I would be very happy.
