Blonde over red?

hope yu guys can help me.
for past year -up till new year i have been dying my hair deep red-semi perm. i now want to have blonde highlights in for summer. the colour has started to fade now. just wandering if you can put highlights over previously dyed red hair. appreciate any advice x

Sounds like me. I was a redhead for the longest time and last year I decided to take the dive and go red. The finsihed product; orange-yellow hair. Now even though this was a bleach solution, highlights can have the same result, I've tried with the results being the same. I suggest going to a salon or your hairdresser, they know what they're doing.
