Hair colouring!

was just after some advice...

for the past few months i have had my hair a black/red...but i was very uneven and i was desperate to get it stripped but no one anywhere here would do it!!!!! gutted, so the other day i took matters into my own hands....

i first of all had a pre lightener put on it - which turned my roots blonde and the rest of my hair red - it took out all the black which i was happy about!

then we put a brown dye on my roots, followed by another red - now it is VERY red - a little too red for my liking, i was just wondering if anyone knew if putting a dark brown over the red would tone this down?

its looking a lot more even now which is what i wanted, but its just toooo red for me!

a bleach bath will help lift out most of the colour and then you can re apply just the brown colour, to do a bleach bath you need, 6%( 20 Vol) peroxide only about 1TBSP, then some water, 2 TBSP and use some bout 4 TBSP conditioner in it. if you have long hair you can double the amounts. keep this on til the colour is removed to what you want, a dull red tone then apply a brown colour, what colour are you using? home or profesional? e.g. wella, i would advise a 5/75
