Very damaged hair from straightening

Can anyone help at all...please??? My hair is so damaged throught straightening, its now at the stage that I cant go out anywhere without straightening at least some of it as it just looks a total mess!

I've got myself so upset over this and really need some sort of hair repair things that work fast!!

I have terrible split end all over, so much has snapped off, I have really short bits at the roots and top of my head that I have to use hair spray to try to keep it down now...feel quite upset over it to be honest...

I do use heat protective sprays etc but they really dont seem to make any difference anymore...

It doesnt seem to grow much at all anymore, probably from where it is snapping so much, so would love to also find something that will speed up the growing aswell??

If anyone can help recommend anything that will help get my hair back again i would be so grateful! Everyone keeps saying to stor straightening it but its not that easy when it just looks a mess if i dont

Please help x x x

My solution is

first i would use a semi dark dye to go back to dark as it looks more healthier. Dyed blond hair always seems to look dry and have no shine. Then i would start using redkin products as they're great for people with damaged hair and they have a great range of products for all types of hair. Another solution is if you really cant stand going dark is start using the redkin prouduct but also rap your hair of a night and sleep with a head scarf or tights. Rapping and sleeping with a head scarf will keep your hair straight and will prevent you from having to use GHD everyday.

Good luck hope this helps x

Hi, I understand how devastating it is to deal with damaged hair. Maybe you can try these products here. http://www.naturesparlour.co.uk/Hair-Treatment-p-1-c-71.html
This might shed light on your hair problem. Cheers!

I know your pain

My stylist allways tells me to buy Cholesterol from the beauty supply store and use Anti snap. Olive oil treatments also help

Thanks

Thank you, i'll look into that then...x

???

Can anyone give any good advice?x

Coconut oil?

I'm not a hairdresser, but I'm currently hearing good things about oils - coconut and in particular, emu oil. It's not exactly cheap and it can't perform miracles (you'd be best to see a hairdresser about getting rid of the split ends as they'll just keep getting worse if left) but I'm told it's very, very good for hair (and skin too!)

Hope that helps?

Thanks, i'll have a look about for some coconut oil then, i know its meant to be great with skin, well i use coco butter creams etc...very good...

need to find something that will help and fast! lol xx
