Frizzy hair (perm)?

I have frizzy wavy shoulder length hair i straghten it everyday with my ghd's but i want to stop using them. I was thinking of having a very very loose perm just to give it a bit more curl i want a messy beach look.

any help would be brilliant

Wavy curls are in atm - I'm waving mine with tongs and it looks really summery!!
