Oily build up!!!! please help!!!

I recently have noticed a greasy patch at the back of my scalp underneath the top layer of my hair... It's horrible and i have tried so many different shampoos that i don't know what else to do. I have been having highlights for years and never had any problem also used hairdryers and hair straightners and never a problem so don't know what has caused this.
I have spoken to someone who said i may have a build up of oily substance in my hair and to use shampoos without siliocone in especially Dimethicone.. but every shampoo i see for coloured hair seems to have this in so it doesn't do anything for my colour?

Not sure what else i can try!!!

Any help would be most appreciated!!

Thanks

Try that

Hello,

what shampoo and conditioner do u use? Have u got fine hair? Maybe your products are too heavy for your hair, u should try Philip kingsley or redken they got some pretty good stuff for your problem.

I went on wwww.alwaysgorgeous.com and they got a hair doctor, she is brilliant she really helped me. U should try, it's worth it.

..........

use a citrus shampoo eg. lemon

Same problem!!!

Hi,
I always have the same problem too. After 2 days of having washed it, it gets really greasy.
I used to use conditioner, but I noticed this made it worse, and now I just stick to regular shampoo. So far I haven't found one which solves the problem, even the ones that are designed for Greasy hair dont seem to work that well. My hair is quite thin so its even worse!!

Let me know if you find any shampoos without the Silicone.

Good Luck x

Fix!!!

Hey,

I can't believe it and i don't want to tempt fate but think i have found a shampoo that works!!!

Head and Shoulders!!! i don't have dandruff but my mum recommended it.. They do say mums know best and my hair is shiny and perfect been two days and no sign of the usual grease!! I used the 2 in 1 so no need for a separate condirtioner, and it doesn't have sillicone!!

Give it a try

Head and shoulders

Hi,

Im glad it worked for you!!
I used to use Head and Shoulders, but dont anymore. My hair is thin and that shampoo used to leave it quite limp. I prefer to use shampoos designed for a thicker look except the best ones are way too expensive.

Anyway I hope using Head and Shoulders is going to continue to work for you.
