Electrolosys

Hi There,

I want to look into getting electrolosys but would rather go to a practicioner that has a good reputation / that someone has personal experience of.

Any recommendations?

I've had electrolysis for years ............

Hi

I've had electrolysis for years on my face.
I was teased quite a bit whilst at school about being hairy and wanted to do something about the sideburns on my face. I started electrolysis when I was around 17 years old and I'm now in my mid-thirties. I haven't had to go regularly, but have had top-up treatments around 3 times a year. However, with age, my hormones have changed and I'm now getting hair on other areas of my face!
All I can say is that electrolysis takes years and can scar. I was very lucky for most of the course of my treatments and never got any scars. However, about a year ago, I had thermolysis, which is a different type of electrolysis - I would never ever recommend this to anyone. It is incredibly painful and my skin reacted so badly to it, that I was left with post-inflamatory hyperpigmentation on my face.

I'm now looking into laser.

Electrolysis is fine, but look around for good practitioners. The blend method of electrolysis works quite well. Make sure that the beauty therapist doesn't pull your hairs out. When each hair is treated, it should just slide out rather than being pulled.

Good luck.

Costs

Hi! I' d like to add some questions about electrolisys;
Where can i get this service?
How much does is cost more or less?
I'm foreign so i have no idea where to ask!
Thanks!
