I have a similar problem. I'm getting more and more hair on my neck, that I now need to do something about it. I've looked into laser hair removal and am going to a clinic that was recommended by someone I know, as it worked for her. However, she treated coarse hair on her legs. Anyway, I was advised that before treating the hair on my neck, I'd need to either shave or use a depilatory cream to remove the hair first. I've held off having the treatment, because I'm terrified that I'll simply make the hair growth stronger and worse. However, I think I'm going to take the plunge. I'm not going to shave though, but use a depilatory cream. I'm hoping to God it works. I'm thinking that if it doesn't, I'll probably then have to wax. Being so hairy sucks, but I've had to look at it another way, there are worse things that could happen.
