Brazillian gone wrong. help please!!

I got my first brazillian wax the other day (I've only had bikinis before) and it went alright, painful of course but that's to be expected. So when I left my skin was very red and swollen and looked almost rashy but the woman who did the waxing told me that it was completely normal and all of that would be gone within a few hours. Well that area was very red and tender throughout the rest of the day and horribly, the next morning when I was getting dressed I saw that the little red bumps that had popped up after the wax had swollen and were now puss filled and absolutely covering the front of my crotch. It's awful! They pop very easily but they are hideous and that whole area is still bright red. Is this normal? What do I do to get rid of this? Please help!

It sounds to me like infected hair follicles, this can happen when your folicles are open and when you wear underwear skin cells can enter the follicle causing a slight infection. use 6-8 drops of tea tree oil diluted in 1 tsp milk in a bath, the anti sepitc properties will reduce the swelling and infection.
Hope that helps

When I went for my first Brazilian wax, the lady told me to sit in epsom salts for about twenty minutes that night. It helped a bit with the swelling and it also acts as a disinfectant, so maybe you could try that next time?

Aloe vera

if you have never had this problem with waxing before then it is just down to a bad wax, try not to worry about it too much it will sort itself out..for the redness the best thing is aloe vera as it is very soothing, i used to have the same prob after waxing and it always worked for me.

It can happen, especcially the first times because the area is very delicate. Try to put some cream and remember to keep it moist especially before waxing!Unfortunately now Im using the razor, but i used to wax and i was using almond oil, but the one that is pure 100 per cent (the one i was buying was for oral use for digestion!!!). Its really really good!
