"Bikini hair removal advice"
Posted by amymc2 7 April  at  12:18

I have waxed my own bikini line for a while now but would really like to go to a salon as they would probably be more efficient at it. I have always wondered though if you can leave your underwear on (a thong). I don't think I would feel comfortable being completely bare, although I know they probably well used to it. I know this would prob also depend on the type of bikini wax you want - just the norm really no Brazillians for me.

Any advice would be great,

thanks x

I'm a beauty therapist and I do waxing. For a standard bikini wax it is perfectly fine to wear your underwear. The only time I would ask for underwear to be removed is for a Braz/holly, and if the client was unhappy about this, then I would give them a disposable thong, the wax can be easily done around this.

Hope this helps

although I have never had the bikini line done professionally myself, my friends do, and you do keep your underwear on you will be pleased to know!

You may just have to push your underwear to one side slightly
