Ingrowing hairs

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted on this board before, but am hoping someone can help me. I get a lot of ingrowing hairs under my arms, and they get really painful. I shave, (most days), but I exfoliate regularly and use a sharp razor. Does anyone know why this keeps happening? I only occasionally get them on my bikini line, but I wax that. Have tried waxing my underarms and just couldn't get on with it, plus couldn't leave them to grow.

Is there anything I could do/use to stop this happening? Apart from being sore it's ugly (

Epilation - it really is worth it!

Hi,

Not sure if you're still having the same probs, but I epilate my underarms. I used to have thick, black stubble when I shaved - yuck! And I found waxing left them a little tender. But epilating works a treat and I've found that over time it leave the hairs so fine that you only need to do them every couple of weeks as you can't really see the re-growth. I've found it's the one part of my body that's really responded to this kind of "grab it from the root" treatment.

And after the first time it really doesn't hurt that much - I promise.
