Anyone used the panasonic wet and dry epilator?

I currently have a Babyliss epilator which is good, but makes my skin itch and so I can only do a small area at a time. I keep reading about this wet and dry epilator, but the reviews I've read online seem very mixed.
I was wondering if anyone has tried it, and if they think it is worthwhile buying? Apparently using it in water makes it less painful, and stops red bumps, which are the two major attractions for me - but I dont want to be sucked in by all the hype!
