Would 'boots smooth skin' work?

This is my first post so be gentle with me.
I went for a patch test at the laser clinic. She had to put the machine up quite high to get the effect she needed.
My question is, would the 'boots smooth skin' work on me? the worry I have is it wont be strong enough for me but I know it works in a differant way. I have olive skin with dark hair, I have a couple of really thick hairs on my upper lip along with the finer dark hairs. The areas I would like to treat are my arms, fingers and upper lip.
Any advice?

yep, ive the same skin type and hair as u, and its removed more than hair the hairs on ma arm n i had only 3 treatments so far. buh its not suitable for the face. hope that helps x
