"You will feel better!!" Posted by sherriepooh 5 September at 11:54
hi, just to let you know i am 12 days post op and i felt exactly the same. i am only just starting to feel a bit better. i had 365 hp overs and i went from a 36b to a 36d so i think you will end up bigger than a c. i was told i would be a full d cup when they settle. i felt very sick too and stopped the codine. it could also be the ga coming out of your system. im back to work tomorrow so it will be my first day driving. could do with another couple of days off but bills have to be paid!!! they do feel better each day that goes by honest. just rest and don't do anything cos although there will be days you feel you can do things, its really not worth it. let me know if there is anything else i can help you with as its still fresh in my mind. happy healing, im sure it will be worth it. sherrie xx

Thanks so much for the reply. Sounds how i am feeling is normal then? I'm glad ur starting to feel better tho, i've got 2 weeks off work so just going to take it easy like you said. I guess i kind of under estimated how rotten you can feel after something like this but ur reassurance has def made me feel better. Who was ur surgeon? I had Dr.Khan and have all this taping round my boobs(which is prob making them feel even tighter) but have been told i can't take it off til my 10 day post op check Thanks again xxx

I'm 17 days post-op and can re-assure you that it does get better
I also had Mr Khan at the Heath so know what that horrible strapping feels like!
If it's driving you mad, ring your clinic nurse and ask if you can take it off any sooner than your 10 day post op check. I did and was told I could take the strapping off 5 days post-op. You will feel better when it's off.
What you're feeling, i.e. you feel like your boobs are going to burst, is normal hun. It's horrible but it does pass.
Hope you feel better soon hun,
Louise xx

I had mine done with thg and mr degado. i had a 5 day post op check and they took my strapping off which was alot easier cos it was sooo tight. Every surgeon is different cos when i went for breakfast the following morning of my op and some did,nt have strapping on at all. Trouble is i don't know how you will stand if anything goes wrong and you did'nt follow the rules. Give them a ring if i were you.... sherrie xxx
