Here is what I took for my BA, i had an overnight stay in the hosp too.

Two pillows - one to sit on in the car - takes the edges off the bumps in the road and the other for between your boobs and the seatbelt.
Dressing gown - i get cold easily, also i couldnt put my pjs on so i just used that
Slippers - A MUST!!!!
Chocolate and a fizzy drink - i coulnt eat my tea, i felt too sick after, so these came in handy when i was hungry at 2am!
Magazines and book - although i was too tired too read!
Mobile phone - fully charged!! was texting how brave i was to everyone
A vest and a zip up top - i just couldnt lift my arms the next day!
Baggy tracksuit bottoms - i was sooooooo bloated after the GA
Babywipes - to freshen up with the next day

Cant think if i have missed anything, second day back at work and I am SHATTERED!!
Good luck for Thursday
K xx

Tips to take with you (from my previous thread and story - not feeling nervous anymore)
Thing to take

Pillows!! A must, You get one pillow and it was the thickness of an envelope!! was so pleased I had brought my own!

Slippers I forgot mine and had to walk to theathre room in my normal shoes with my dressing gown on - very embarrassing won't make that mistake again!!

Some people say drinking straws but I didn't find that was a problem for me but I did take them just in case

ear plugs - being in a different room with different noises I could have really have done with some

Obviously dressing gound

Some t shirts - I thought I would only be able to get zip tops on but you can get tops on and the room was fairly warm so you might find that helps.

Magazines/book as I said you may have to wait a while so they can take your minds off it.

Fully charged phone someone else mentioned this to me and I made sure it was.

I took two sports bras as I wasnt sure which one would fit. I am taking the other back next week.

Like I said ladies it was't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be in fact I feel great - happy I have nice boobs and already my clothes feel better on.

Now 4 days post op and glad my surgeon said to me that initially you might get the post op blues as I didn't until day 2 and started wondering what on earth I had done but now I am really glad I went ahead and don't regret for one second.

Good luck for Thursday! xx
