"Had my ba yesterday "

So this is my story so far.....

I left home at 5.30 am so that i would get to Highgate by 7.30,i drove (in the pouring rain) whilst my partner dozed beside me lol.Getting there was pretty straight forward thanks to my sat nav & that there was hardly any traffic.
Parked up & booked myself in at reception,was moved straight away to a consultation room as the rooms were not ready which was ok. The nurse went over who i was etc & told me as i was a day case i should be done early! Told her that i wasn't a day case so she went off to check why they had me as a day case.Came back & said all was fine & corrected.Told me i shouldn't have to wait long & left me & my partner with some newspapers.The aneathiatist (spelling doh)saw me quickly.
After an hour i started to get really nervous that i'd been forgotten & was i really doing the right thing etc.Then my PS Dr Lahoud came in to check everything with me & said so we're going to put the 300's in.I told him that i'd phoned my pc & asked if it could be noted i really wanted the 340's & then said again to a different pc 2 weeks ago when i went to see the nurse.NOBODY had bothered to tell him & he was a little pissed as he said he didn't have that size implant with him & it would take him 10 mins to go get it & that i was supposed to be 2nd on the list. My nerves were really kicking in now! He had another look at my boobs & marked me up saying yes i could have the 340's though he made me sign to say that his choice would of been the 300's.
Finally after 2 hours in the consultation room (i am so glad i had my partner with me coz i think i would of been going out of my mind if i'd been on my own)a nurse came & got me & kept apologising at how long i'd had to wait & because i'd had to wait they were giving me the biggest room in the hospital - result
So i had the usual checks blood presure etc,given my paper knickers,stockings & slippers & waited til about 12 when i was taken down by the 2 funniest nurse's who kept singing i was going to have big titties lol.
So laying on the table i was still freaking out im my head whilst the aneathiatist got me ready & then said ok here we go.Bloody hell all of a sudden my body felt like it was going to take off as this incredible/weird/strange feeling swirled round my body.I actually said that feels bloody weird! Then they said enjoy your sleep & i was thinking i don't think i'm going to fall asleep...

Heard the nurse say my name & that i was in recovery.I thought i hadn't had it done yet coz i couldn't feel any pain.She told me all went well & that i was being taken back to my room.
My partner was waiting for me & i kept saying i don't think they've done anything yet.At this point the nurse started laughing & lifted my top so i could see perky boobs on my chest.
Spent the afternoon dozing on & off,my partner went home after i had some tea & toast.Luckily no sickness though i did feel light headed going to the toilet.Had 2 drains in as well (going for a wee with 2 drains = most difficult lol).Nurses were great came in every 2 hours to check on me.Had a lovely roast dinner brought in though i couldn't eat that much...ate the ice cream though.
Finally had a proper look at my boobs about 5pm standing up & wow they look great.Nurse helped me into 1 of the bras i brought in & although a little tight the 34 d (yaaay a D) fitted best.
Had no pain all night & didn't need any pain killers was actually surprised about how much i could move my arms too.Dr Lahoud came to see me at 11pm & was happy with everything.Fell asleep & slept really well.

Woke this morning & felt a little more stiff & sore but not terrible. Nurse came in to remove my drains & yes it bloody stung so i had a couple of pain killers after. Dr Lahoud checked on me again & then i was discharged.

So now just after 24hrs of having it done i feel great & so pleased i've had it done.

I had a similar situation before my op, they did not receive my swab results, so my op almost got posponed, but I cried so much that my PS agreed to operate, only I had to wait to be done last. Which meant 9 hours wait, no food, no drink, but it was well worth it! I had 300cc overs, was 34A, now 34D (did not get measured professionally, but wearing 34D support bra).
