" please help!! post op advice "

Evening ladies

Would really appreciate your advice on a couple of things I am 4 days post op and just wondering about a couple of things:

When did you take your dressing off/change it - my surgeon said to me that if I keep them on for as long as I can it will mean that the scars will heal better and the nurse said my dressing should last but has given me some new ones to change if they need replacing - I was just worrying about whether they need to be changed as 4 weeks seems a long time?

The other thing is I am really not looking forward to taking the dressing off and seeing the scars (had under the crease ba) and am already feeling nervous about this just wondering whether anyone else had this and was it as bad as you thought?

Loving my new boobies altought they are a bit hard and can't feel them that much at the mo! I had overs do they fluff and drop too they are a bit high at the moment?

I had my dressings removed at 1 week post op by the nurse, 4 weeks does seem like a long time to keep them covered as letting the air get to your scars will help them to dry out & heel, or so I have always thought anyway.

As for the scars, when I saw mine it was scary, I think it's just the sight of seeing the cuts on me, I've never seen anything like it before but after the initial omg it wasn't that bad.

Can't help much with advice on overs as I had unders but they will drop & settle, from what I've heard quicker than unders.
