I am having my ba next friday and have just discovered that my nipples are leaking milk, but only when squeezed, it is white and sometimes watery. Has anyone else had this and do you know if it will affect me having my op?? Oh god im so worried now just need some advice. I will probably book to see my gp or nurse as soon as too.

....when squeezed or stimulated by my OH leak milk too on occasions, I don't worry about it because it is so little

See your GP, they probably wont do anything about it unless you leak lots

Yeah i get that and ive had a ba 8 ish weeks ago. Ive had it for years just hormonal for me my gp said that it would clear up if my OH stopped playing with them. lol. Ive had 2 kids and it started just b4 my first. i still had it everynow and again after the 2nd but not much, now after my ba its gone.
I would see your GP to be on the safe side but hopefuly its nothing.

You need to go to the dr and ask for a prolactine blood test,it can be hormonal, because you have been taking certain stomach medicine,or you have harmless breast cysts,which will show up when you do your mammo, It is important not to keep sqeezing the milk out as this will encourage the breast to produce more,if the blood test is in the normal range the doc will give you a treatment to dry it up.Hope this helps.
