Hi girls.

Well after all my complaining about the size of my boobs I was In town yesterday and was running out of time but thought I would quickly go and get measured (even though I am only 3 weeks PO)

I went to M & S and asked for them to measure me, she said she could only give me a rough guide. I was like ok then thinking she would be able to give me a good idea at least. Well she measured me under the bust and said I was a 34 (I was thinking I know that bit just want to know what cup size) She then didnt even measure me round the bust and said "what were you hoping to be" ???? I said well at least a C Cup. She said "Oh well I think you are a good B maybe a C?????????

I didnt bother any longer cos she obviously isnt trained. was a bit miffed as I couldnt then go any where else cos Id run out of time

SO to cut a long story short, just wondering if anyone knows there underbust and overbust measurements in inches and knows what bra size they where??

It would be great to get a good idea of what I am, I kow everyone is different etc but It would put my mind maybe at ease

P.S I am 30 inches underbust and between 36.5 and 37 overbust xx

Go to this link, its very good for understanding how to measure your bust. Bear in mind though, that even when you know your size, dferent shops will sell you different sizes (even the manufacturers dont know how to size up bras!! )

You could be a D with La Senza or Elle McPherson or a B with Marks and Sparks !! whats important is the way you look in clothes after your op, regardless of the acutal perceived size. You need a bust that suits your height, frame and figure.

I am measuring same as you and 37 around bust which is making me a 34D but am finding a lot of bra's rather tight at the mo so hoping to try a bigger bra next week lol

I know that you measure under & then add 4 to an even number 5 to an odd. I like you am 30 under the bust which makes me come out at a 34 & then you measure fullest part of your bust & if that comes out at 34 then a 35 =b 36=c & so on but...... i am coming out at the fullest 37 & a bit which would make me 34d poss dd but......i can't get either of those sports bras to fit without feeling i'm being cut in half! Am a week post op today & currently wearing a 36 band on the loosest setting in a c (appar a 36c holds the same volume as a 34d) & it's still wat tight!? I'm just grinning (painfully lol but happy wiv my boobies) & going to wait it out til i'm 6 wks & measure again.

Well if I were a 34C/D I would be happy as ive been thinking im going to come out a B!! Been crying for days!

hi i measure 26 35 which makes me a 30e and that is exactly what bra size i wear

I went to M+S and had same treatment as you she said I was a 34c which made me laugh. Went into La Senza and am a 32e !!! The sports bra I am wearing is a 30dd and is very tight and the la senza bra was just right. I thought M+S were crap, she based it on looking at me, how accurate!!! NOT

I thought M&S would be the best place to go and it was rubbish. Where do you suggest is best? Also, do you know what you measure in terms of under and over the bust area? Because im 30 inches which im sure makes me a 34? Just dont know what cup size. Think i will end up a C
