hiya,
About 4 days after my BA i got really bad diarrea (or however you spell it!) from the penicillan anti-biotics they give you. Its was soo bad and had to go out to get some tablets so could have really done with having some. Never normally suffer from this and rang NHS direct and they said its a nasty side effect of these particular anti bio!
So I would recommend some Imodium just in case lol.
I also recommend you sign up to a free dvd online trial for 2 weeks starting a couiple of days before the op. The dvds come through the post so it was great having some new films to watch for free and conveniently popping through the post!!
Good luck, Im nearly 3 weeks post op and feeling happier than ever!
xx

dry shampoo for the first week when you can't wash your hair baby wipes lots of good books, magazines and DVDs senokot in case you get bloated and constipated after the GA a cold compress that you can place over your boobs in the first few days a hot water bottle for your lower back
i am having my op tomorrow morning and i am just getting my last few bits ready. i'm excited and more than a little nervous.
Good luck x

Good luck Ginac22, hope it all goes very well and the results to be 200% better than you expect.
Good luck to all the girls having their BA soon, I'm booked in for Saturday, and I feel alot better knowing I am not doing this alone, and I can always come here for support.
All of this advice is what should be published so that other women are able to recover as best and as easily as possible

I think if you are happy with your surgeon you have to take his word on implant size, I was a 36 a , Im not a skinny girl about a size 12 or 14 just under 11 stone, I had breastfed 3 kids so was empty but not droopy, I had 310 unders and at the moment 18 days post op Im wearing a 36c (tight) during the day and a 36d (comfy but not too big) at night. I think the arnica really helped as I had no bruising, and front fastening tops were a god send for 1st week, and the best thing I did was a total spring clean before op made it easier to chill afterwards knowing that a couple of weeks with me out of action wasnt going to result in the house turning into a total pig sty. Good luck hun hope all goes well and you love your new boobies as much as I love mine Sam xxxxxx

Everyone keeps talking about Arnica what is it? and why are lots of girls buying this?

To minimise bruising after surgery, also been told it helps to reduces swelling.
I'm taking Arnica 6c from Boots, costs about £4.80, your supposed to start taking it a week before your op, and a week after the op. I've been taking it 2 weeks before my op on sat, and will continue taking it 1 week after.
Arnica is a herbal remedy, extracted from a plant.

Is great for bruising
Oh and also I read something about fixing ribbons/string etc onto bathroom [or any other cords] lights so that they are brought down low enough. And getting ready meals, unless you have a partner etc to help you!

yep it was boots pharmasist told me to get the arnica 6 too but after reading my pack again it says should get arnica 30 so i am wondering if i should go and change it?

I was told by both Boots and Hollan & Barret that Arnica 6 is stronger than 30, as they explained, the smaller number meant it was stronger than higher number.
