Hey let me know how it goes!

Hi Kelly

I tried one of those on an jumped around a bit - not too much though as I was in the changing cubicle! Wasn't sure about it as I have a level 3 shock absorber and dont find it any different to a regular bra!

Actually it's probably just me as I'm not used to having anything capable of bouncing!

Let me know how it is though and just a thought next time you want a shock absorber try T K MAXX I only paid £6 for mine instead of £24! So def worth sorting the the racks me thinks!

Take care

Any runners out there

Hi Girls

I am a runner who is having an exchange and uplift. I have been advised by my ps that I should give up my running and high impact exercise if I don't want to be back having futher surgery in years to come. I always wear a good support bra so was rather miffed by his comments. Anyone out there had a ba and continued to run/high impact? Your thoughts please girls.

Have you tried power walking?

hi - i did the moonwalk last year and my friend and i averaged at just over 6 miles per hour. why don't you try that? much less strain on the body. x

Hi

Hey hun

I started running again at 6 weeks PO, I couldn't wait to get back to it. I think you will be fine if you don't have a massive size and if you wear a support bra.

What size?

Thanks to all 'Gals' who have replied to my dilema, it is much appreciated. Read the article and says that shouldn't be more than a 'D' with the implants to run. I am that size currently but having an exchange and lift - I want to keep same size but PS wants to increase slightly. Are any of you girlies bigger than that and still running?
xx

Hey hun

I'm a 34D. Personally I'm glad I didn't go any bigger, but I'd probably still run if they were.

Brilliant article

Hi there, I found this brilliant article when I was considering BA. It's writen by a plastic surgeon who is a runner......

Hi newme02

Thanks a lot for posting the article link - I found it very informative!!!

i'm a runner, i run 5 km almost evrynight and won't be giving it up. i'm olny 2half weeks post op now so haven't done it yet but i am going back to the gym this week for low impact stff, i'm getting mega withdrawal symptoms so need to do something!! lol
i've just ordered a level 4 shock absorber from lessbounce.com, one of the girls on here reccomened it to me, it looks fab, it has a kind of band that goes over your boobs to hold them down.
seems really wrong him telling you to give it up, if i did that i'd be back there every year getting lipo anyway!!

Hi

I've been looking round for a good sports bra as I need to get back to the gym but don't feel regular sports bras offer that much support! Found one too! Marks & Spencers do a heavy duty high impact bra for runners! They cost £20 come in black or white and look like a zip fronted cropped top - but be warned they are mega tight and you may need to get a size bigger than usual, I needed a 32G! Usually wear an F! But they definitely do the trick, no sign of movement, no jiggle or wobble! It's worth having a look as they're a million times better than the others I've tried!

Good luck with your op!

Take care
