I had full tummy tuck and lipo with Mr Selvaggi on 19th December 2008. Although I've had absolutely no pain with my scar and it is really very neat, I am still in a lot of pain in the area above my new tummy button up to my breasts. I still cannot stand fully straight without feeling a really uncomfortable down-ward pulling, stretching sensation in that area,almost as if the tuck is too tight. To be fairI did not have a big tummy to be removed and now it is really flat, however I do not have any contours and it is flat from ribs to pubic bone; is this normal? I know the reduction in swelling plays a huge part in how the final look is but I must admit I'm scared that I will always find it uncomfortable to stand up straight. Can you stand up straight now and have your normal tummy contours returned? Ps did you get a lot of back ache?

cant say for tummy tuck but i had muscle repair and umbilical hernia fixed 2 yr ago , it took just over 2 wks to be able to stand straight and even then it felt tight like muscles were pulling, hope everything is well & you heal fast

I had one two years ago , don chantrasak, heath london,

about standing straight everyone is different but you will know when you can straightern up as you tummy will let you, for me I was straight by week two but I did not strain myself in anyway and took things very easy at home. Pain was less than a C-section for all thoose ladys wondering, and was off pain killers by week two, the only thing that really hurt was the dreaded drains being pulled out.
after two years now my scar is faint, and tummy still flat!
