Hi

I am a side sleeper and was desperate to sleep back on my side. I managed it in comfort at 4 weeks which just seemed to happen overnight. A pillow like you said certainly helps and I am now 6 weeks post op and have no trouble at all. It wont be long....

Hi you!

Just seen this and had to say.....
.After 3 weeks you don't have to be propped right up! I gradually lowered my 6 pillow mountain to 3 after 2 weeks...and I can just sleep on my side now (5weeks)...though not totally....(sort of half side/half back rather than half side/half face-in-pillow!!)

But, you know what?? I actually LIKE sleeping on my back more now...
cos FIRST....you don't get creases between your boobs!!!! (though the way mine were so high there wasn't room for creases too!!)
and SECOND.....my face looks less squashed in a morning!!
Soooooooo.....not only do I have BOOBIES...I look 10 years younger in a morning!! RESULT!!

Good Thing!!

It back to back for me!! Yay!!

A xxxx

hi hun, i'm 9 wks post op now and have only been able to sleep comfortably on my side from about 4/5 weeks and then it was hugging a pillow to give them a bit of support.
i've just started sleeping on my frount too, can only do this for about half hour before i start gettin a bit sore but its getting there!!

hold on in there hun, won't be long till you're doing backflips again if thats what you fancy!

Hi

Hi Tracey!

At three weeks i was still sleeping proped up so dont worry, at week 4 i started laying flat on my back and by 5/6 weeks i was managing on my side but with a pillow under them. I know what you mean about the whole under your armpit feeling. Im 19 week PO and my right one still feels like its too far under. Dont panic just give it abit of time x
