Any views on the nuffield hospitals

i've seen that i could get a ba done a lot nearer to me at the nuffield, but need some reviews really as its £100 for a consult which only lasts 1/2 an hour. .surgeon is dan prinsloo, he seems really qualified but got a lot of his qualifications in africa. ..do you think i would be wasting my time and money on booking a consult with him just to get a bit nearer to home? he does a lot of reconstruction work it seems.

got a consult with Dan Prinsloo at the shrewsbury nuffield on friday 16th jan....done a lot more research on him and he seems quite highly regarded so i'm keeping my fingers crossed as the hospital is so much closer for me...also the girl i spoke to o0n the phone was so nice and friendly, i was disappointed with the service over the phone with mybreast and they never returned my calls when they said they would, i ended up phoning them 3 times before i actually got an appointment which was a bit of a let down , but i have heard on here that the admin side of mybreast is'nt too hot!

I've had a consultation with Charles Nduka at brighton Nuffield, I found he is very conservative about his sizings, he is quite reserved too, seen him twice, the second time I took my boyf and it was awkward as felt I couldnt ask him what I want, he had the same size implant there both times , not the size I wanted either!!! I think thats more about him as a person though and not the Nuffield itself. Seen Singh since and decided to go with him as trust him and says something different to what Nduka is saying.
They are a great company though, the service is good and they have fab hospitals, I think most (or all?) of their surgeons are on the BAAPS website

Brilliant!

Had my 2nd BA at Nuffied Bournemouth in November and was VERY happy with everything. Although you pay for a consult with a private surgeon, the actual costs at the end of the day works out to be less than going through an agency! I had my first BA in South Africa 14 years ago and the surgeons there are as qualified as anywhere else, but you will know straight away if you are comfortable with him. Good luck!

York nuffield

i had a consultation at york nuffield in november .it was longer then half an hour and it cost £125 .my surgeon ,mr nicholson was freindly and approachable i got all my questions answered .it was welcoming and hospitable lol and there was definatly no sales pitch unlike TRANSFORM oops did i say that out loud lol . he showed me implants and photos of before and after and i was realy pleased with the results of his work . i have my boob job feb 18th and i put my faith in the nuffield any more qusetions hun just pm me x

ive had my consultation at brightons nuffield hospital with andrew yelland. It cost 85quid but i didnt have to pay because if u decide to go ahead with it, they deduct it from the op cost. My surgeon was absolutely lovely. Very funny, helpful and understanding. I got measured, i saw the implants and before and after pics. He also whent through a whole tick lists of things i needed to know and answered all my questions and gave me instructions on doing the rice test.
He didnt even mention money, i had to mention it. So there was no pressure. Im booked for the 28th jan and i know ive made the right choice.
Andrew yelland is a breast expert. Aswell as doing implants, uplifts etc he even does reconstructive breast surgery for cancer patients. His c.v is excellent. He even does work for the nhs as well as private.
U dont have to go through pushy sales people, just straight to the surgeon his self.

think i will go ahead and book a consult with the nuffield in shrewsbury as its much closer for me than birmingham...then i can see which surgeon i prefer as got a consult with guy sterne at mybreast too...my friend works at the nuffield you are going to ( in the kitchens) and she reckons andrew yelland is a 'star' so sounds like you are in good hands there.
