Ba without general anaestheti? is it possible?

Can i have a BA under sedation (light sleep) rather than have a GA? Has anyone ever done this before?

some clinics do something called twilight anaesthesia which is pretty much just sedation and local anaesthetic. You would have to discuss it with the surgeon and the anaethetist, but it is definately possible.
