urgent advice please - ba is far too large

Hello

I have ended up with huge boobs that i hate - it has been 3 days since my surgery and regardless of what will be lost in swelling reduction i hate the form that i have and the shape and i have even refused to look at them in the mirror

I used Dr Toledo in Dubai because I live here now and have found loads of PR on him but was not personally recommended. He has a big ego but seemed ok and knew his stuff. I kept stressing that i could not like and did not want big breasts. I am not small - a sie 12 but very strong and had reduced breasts with lots of skin due to recurrent yoyo weight loss. I therefore could fill a 34b but with loose skin too but i kind of wore balconette bras to fit me.

i wanted my new breasts to look slightly bigger - say a 34 or 36 c but making my breast slightly firmer and uplifting them naturally slightly with the implant.

I did not understand my subject when i went to see him and i was so stupid because i based the booking on the timing he could fit me in compared to others as i have trips home to the uk planned

my first visit he tried to get me to take 400s and i was like no way and i will go home and think about it but i was confised because i ahve so much skin and i could not fathom what the existing tissue i had weighed or what area it took up and what the smallest iplant i could have would be to fill it nicely. I still wanted to look athletic not like i needed a british steel bra to hold me up

I therefore wrote him an email saying i could not commit to the dates he offered because i felt confused and unsire of what the sizings meant and did

`he therefore told me to come back for a free follow up and to put me at ease

This made me feel better and I went back and he said so you wanna go for 350s and I said i still dont know what that means

So we went into the other room and tried the 350 and a 285 but they would not fit in my bra. `they were both high profile and i was asking him the difference and he said i needed high profile to lift my breast and therefore these were the ones i needed. I was willing to believe that my breasts were in a state to need high profile but was sitll confused about the size

so i held my own breasts and said ok if i had this (285) in here would it look raised like this and he said yes and i said how much would it prottrude and held the implant up

i then said i was still unsure and he said i can o your surgery Thursday and you have to make up your mind by tuesday
As I left he winked and said go for the 350

So i wrote to him saying i still cannot make up my mind and am nervous and could he explain if the 285 would fill the skin because i dont want to be big. By the way - do other surgeons have loads of sizes as these were the only ones he had. He also had a low profile 300 but said i needed high profile so i said havent you got high profile 300 (not that i wanted it) and he said no i only have these.

he wrote back one line saying i think the 350 is the best for your body.

The night before my surgery i wrote to him at 2am (I had to be there at 8) saying i did not feel he had explained wht i wanted to know about the 285 and i was nervous.

I went to his office with my fiance for the pre-op and he walked i and siad morning i got your email but we are going for 350's today it is waht you need to fill the skin - so i said ok but i dont want them to be big - I had pre-warned him i would start my period that day and my breasts now were swollen like i told him they would be and i was adamant i had a lot of breast tissue and he siad it is what you need. SO I went with it

I woke up felt ok - didnt look down

Was vomitting all night and then had sever attack in my abdomen which i have since read was possibly because my body was in shock to have the breasts opened when i was menstruating - know this is not his fault just getting the whole episode off my chest

next day he came and opened the bra and bandage whilst i was lying down and moved them around a bit and drained some fluid and i was devastated - i could see a wide gap between them and this was not what i wanted - i loved the shape they were before i just wanted them filling out and moving up

I think he knew i was unhappy - he did ot say much and i said nothing

I was released and was devastated when i saw my fiance and when i got home i avoided mirrors. they areso not mue - they are huge and look old fashioned if that makes sense. I have not seen them in the flesh i refuse

Yesterday we went for day 2 follow up and have dressings changed and i was in tears in his office and he opened them up and got me to sit up in front of the mirror i refused to open my eyes. my fiance told him i was so upset about the size and asked the questons i wanted to know and he was so arrogant - saying to my fiance he thought he was not supporting me\
\My fiance was amazing and held his temper and said now - this is not about you or me it is about her - the doc was saying i need you to be supportive to my work and my fiance said the shape is nice but she hates the size. he was ust saying thank you and ignoring what my complaints were

I would not look at him

\i have been so childish to fit this around travel dates and my vanity has cost me feeling like this.

I have prattled on but my main question is - whilst it is so early and before the skin stretches can they re-open and put a smaller implant in pronto??

Please reply

thank you so very much

Kirsty xx

Please, please dont worry......

I felt exactly the same way as you straight after my BA. I felt sick, couldnt eat I was devastated at feeling I had gone too big. I too just wanted to fill the skin I had but still wanted to look perky and athletic. I felt they were huge, ugly and like you - matronly.
I even had a dream that they fell out and the sense of relief was amazing until I woke up. I made an appointment with the nurses after 10 days because I recognised I was becoming too distressed to function normally.
They told me most of it was swelling and the doc wouldnt consider changing the implant until after 6 months because the pocket needs to heal first. They were however very supportive and agreed they would do everything they could to ensure a positive outcome.
The difference you are thinking of changing to is 65cc - quite tiny not even half a cup size difference so changing the implant may not be the answer.
I got a couple of PM at the time from girls on here that had gone through this too and all (including me) have gone through massive changes and have learned to love our new bigger than expected breasts.
Please dont be hard on yourself, take a bit of time to get used to them. Its such early days they will change so much over the next few weeks, I promise. You must contact the clinic try and speak to the nursing staff they will be more receptive than the surgeon Im sure.
Please PM me if you need to talk.

Hiya hun

I had the opposite problem, like you i had empty boobs pre-op and my surgeon didnt put a big enough implant in to fill the loose skin and i have just had to have a re-op to have a bigger implant. Going from a 410cc to a 460cc. I really think you need to give it time, mine were awful straight after my BA, really weird shape but they do settle hun and can look totally different when the swelling goes.

I think its highly unlikely that he will "swap" your implants straight away and most surgeons will wait until 6 months post-op before agreeing to moresurgery.

I really hope you get sorted hunnie as i was sooooo upset that mine werent big enouh and the skin wasnt filled so i can understand how unhappy you are as yours arent what you wanted either x

What size are you now? Size sports bra?

they did not put me in a sports bra - they put me in a surgical madonna pointy bra - i think i am probably a DD though I hate them they are huge

Why

Why do u want to be either a 36 c or a 34 c? Implants do not change the size of your back lol but I think it depends on the elasticity of your skin which I don't know anything about but I would get it done asap. The boobs do change shape and size though so beware you are not being too hasty xx

"why"

not sure if it sent last time

basically my back goes bigger when i am exercising a lot so i tend to have 36 bras too for when that is happening

so you think you can get them changed straight off rather than waiting months?

thanks so much

xx

Eak

don't be hasty hun!

speak with your surgeon asap, but here's my oppinion... they are going to look pointy and old fashioned at first (mine do, im 5 days post of). But Iv seen sooooo many phot's after doing about 2 yrs of research and boob looking. ALL girls boobs start out either pointy looking / really high / really under the armpits and sometimes all of these things for the first few weeks, then they drop into a more natrual position and your swelling goes down.

Seeing as you had some spare skin, your surgeon had to fill it I reakon? If he had given you a smaller implant, would it not just bounce around inside your original boob? Lol, Im not very technical but thats the pic I have in my head!

I really think you should give it some time, but then on the other hand theres no point you getting upset and distressed so speak with your surgeon

Chin up hun - so many emotions are going through me at the moment but I was so over prepared I knew to expect I would feel strangely to them and they would look odd at first

Gem xx

Thanks for the lovely reply - an for passing on your energy when you too are recovering x\

`they really are really buxom and matron like and i hate them - i am going to have to speak to him tomorrow to see if i can have them immediately replaced with the 285 but to be honest it will be tricky because the mere fact i did not like them he was really insulted that i did not like his work

Yes i do think he needed to fill the skin but this is massively overfilled and i think he could have have a light fill that would not be so huge and massive

Anyway - go and rest and thanks so much for taking the time to reply x

Give it some time

Every1 is different of course but spend some time reading what other girls hav gone through, so many ups and downs!

We're all here for you

oh honey I feel for you, it must be awful to want something so bad and not be happy with the results, your surgeon seams a little in approacable, Is there anyone else you can talk to from the clinic? I'm hoping to go to a DD and am expecting to hate the at first as I have a hate hate relationship with the at present. I know mine will take at least 3 months to settle. Can you wait that long to see if they settle? Big hug x x
