Having ba on thursday! getting a bit worried!

Hey
Having BA on Thursday through the group hospital (i notice posts have been removed so wiggled it round). My surgeon is Pagnelli.
Am currently 38b and going for DD. Am thinking of an E.... I dunno.
Anyone out there thats 5'7" and 13.5 stone (ish) thats had BA?
What size you go to?
The biggest thing I am worried about is my weight and what they are going to look like. I'm a big girl, always have been and my boobs are totally out of proportion to my build. I battle with my weight really bad, I'm a yo yo weigher.
Can anyone tell me what exercising they did after their op so as not to pile on the pounds during recovery? I do exercise bike and small weights - I know I will have to knock the weights on the head for a while.
I have so many questions and because its crepping up on me I am getting more and more questions as the day goes by!!
Also...I just read that I should take 2 bras with me? No one told me about this when I had consultation....what did everyone take with them?
Thanks
Hannah

Hiya

I had my ba there 10 days ago. The staff are lovely. Different surgeon to u tho. I was an A/B cup before and am a DD at the mo.
I am 5'7" and about 10 stone (size 12-14) I had 435 overs and am a DD at the mo. (was aiming for a full D cup but hope they stay this size now lol ).
I was told I am not allowed to exercise at all for 6 weeks including swimming so beware, if u battle with your weight anyway u will prob gain a few pounds. I know I have! I am trying to eat as healthy as poss at the mo and just walk everywhere.
I was told to take a bra in the cup size the surgeon would be aiming for, and one in the nxt size up to accommadate swelling. U might want to get a bra extender too as you may find your usual band width a bit too tight due to swelling also. U can get the bra extenders for a couple of pounds on e bay.
I got my sports bras from Asda. They are only 4 quid each and sooo comfy. At the mo you can get 2 for £6!

Hope this helps xx

Cheers 4 reply!

How are you feeling after 10 days? I have 10 days off work so would like to know.
Did you have your one week after appt as well in London?
Am really brickin it a bit at the mo. Am still smoking but have cut down loads....I think its more important to give up after rather than before.
Whats the pain like? Honestly?

i feel fine

To be honest I think I am one of the lucky ones. I had no pain at all the day of the op. The only time I took the painkillers was the morning after and the following morning after that as I was a bit stiff and sore after sleeping propped up.
I was really worried pre op as my partner only had a week off to help with our 17 month old son. But I could push the buggy at day 4 and was able to pick him up again from day 7 (although can't hold him for too long as if he wriggles it does feel bruised). Pretty much back to normal now. I can sleep on my side comfortably and reach up for things in the cupboards etc.
I was at the Bromsgrove clinic as it was only up the road from me. All my post op appointments will be there. Do u live far from the London one?
xx

I'm pretty good with pain to be honest so reckon I should be ok. I had a foot op a few months back and was walking around after about 12 hours. Nurses thought I was mental!
Yeah - am in Aldershot so London only 50 mins away. Its pretty central though so hope to get an afternoon appt so as to miss the tube crushing lol!
Sleeping's worrying me a little as I sleep on my front lol! Think that may change.
I like forums to get an honest opinon and its good to gear from someone thats been where I'm going. Read some pretty bad stuff about the place though...you never hear the good though do you? You only seem to hear about things when people wanna moan.

u sound like u can handle the pain then

lol. Dunno about the sleeping on your front tho. Don't think I will be trying that for a while . I have spoke to a few people on here who went with Th3 h0sp1tal gr0up. Mixed reviews I suppose, but then someone did say to me tha people who have had bad experiences tend to stay on these forums longer than the ones who were happy. I suppose that makes sense. xx

Gd luck!
